“So far, PSWA has been more benefit to me than the last three years of attending major book events. Amazing!”

SOME COMMENTS FROM PSWA 2011 ATTENDEES
As a newer member and first time conference attendee, I was impressed with the quality of the panel speakers as well as the topics they addressed. The networking that was available before, during, and after the scheduled events was above and beyond what I have seen at other professional conferences. I was able to speak directly with several of the experts with questions that I had. The guidance I received from these individuals will be invaluable for me as I learn to write, and transition from technical writing to fictional writing. The accommodations were first rate and very affordable. The food was outstanding, and the lunch time discussions at the table were as interesting as the panel discussions. I plan on returning next year, and hope to bring a friend with me. Again, thank you to the planning members, and for a great experience!

*Some quick thoughts on the recent conference: the organization was terrific, everything started and ended on schedule. The panels and presenters were top shelf. The attendees, whether or not they served on a panel or presented, were the type of person I’m drawn to–sincere and willing to help another writer. We are one of the few professional organizations that is truly all about the membership. Thanks to all for a wonderful experience. I look forward to 2012!

This was my first PSWA conference, and I really enjoyed it. Everyone who was involved in putting it on deserves a big thanks.

I want to agree that this year’s conference was the best ever. I truly enjoyed all the people I met and the information I received. Every year, I look forward to giving out the awards and only wish I could give an award to everyone. I was impressed with all the networking by our participants and hope everyone will utilize the expertise and experience available in our group. I have several projects in the works because of the conference. Thank you to Keith, AJ, Nancy, Hap, Marilyn, Marilyn and Tim for making the whole thing work and work well. The food was great, the topics were fabulous and the friends I’ve made..priceless. Thank you to everyone for making this year’s event so much fun!

This was my second PSWA, and it was better than the one last year – didn’t think you could improve upon it, but you did. Keith, Marilyn, Marilyn, and everyone who put it together…you guys rock!

Thanks to PSWA for the grand and first place prizes for “I Love a Cop: What Police Families Need to Know” and for the first place prize for my unpublished mystery “Burying Ben.” What an honor. I enjoyed meeting my fellow mystery writers face to face. You are a warm and welcoming bunch.

Keith, you missed your true calling in the hospitality industry! It’s a huge job to manage all the details and logistics and you sure made it look easy. 2012 is on my calendar!
