Annual Conference
Since 2005, the Public Safety Writers Association has held its annual July conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Registrants have the opportunity to engage with a diverse group of leaders in public safety, as well as some of the nation’s most talented voices writing about crime today. A one-day workshop, focused on the writing craft, precedes the main meeting, and one evening of the conference is devoted to recognizing writing excellence, through independently judged awards in various categories of fiction and non-fiction. The September 2026 PSWA newsletter summarizes some of the details of this year’s highly successful meeting.
Our Annual Conference is also a prime opportunity for attendees to showcase their name and books to an enthusiastic audience through advertising, sponsorships, and sales in our book store.
As details about the 2027 program and schedule become available, they will be posted on this website.
