Manuscript Review

Upon joining or renewing your PSWA membership, you can receive a free manuscript review by one of our experienced editors who will review up to 25 pages of your typed, double-spaced work in process.

Upload your manuscript (Word documents only) in the provided area on the request form (below). You can expect a response within 60 days that consists of both general comments on tone and content as well as a light copy-edit.

Please be aware that:

1. Our reviewers cannot provide additional free services to you, such as a more comprehensive edit, or advice on publishing or marketing your manuscript. Of course, you and the editor are free to make a private arrangement about further services.

2. Any manuscripts edited in their entirety by our reviewers will not be eligible for entry in the PSWA writing competition.

3. Our reviewers may decline to review manuscripts that contain sexually explicit or discriminatory language, and the manuscript will simply be returned to you with an explanation.
